MindShoutOut
App size: ~2.4 MB

MindShoutOut is a scheduling and handoff tool for thoughts that feel too important to carry in the mind.
It gives persistent thoughts a future moment so they no longer require continuous attention.
Version 1.9 adds Manual Flip for sending Shouts directly to MindFlipOut, Send to Recipe for sending Shouts directly into MindEntry recipes, updated About and company information, and additional interface refinements.
What It Is
Not a productivity system. Not a task manager.
A structured method for scheduling or storing a single thought.
The purpose is to give an unfinished thought a place and a time, so it does not keep asking for attention in the background.
Common Uses
- Write down a thought that feels too important to forget and schedule it to return later as a notification.
- Use Toss to quickly park a thought without turning it into a notification.
- Set a far future reminder and keep it stable even when Repeat is enabled.
- Record an Audio Shout with an editable label.
- Send a thought (Shout) or an Audio Shout label to MindZoneOut for soft and fuzzy whisper display on the blank wall.
- Send a Shout directly to MindFlipOut using Manual Flip.
- Send a Shout directly into a compatible MindEntry Recipe.
- Use Take the First Step when a task feels difficult to begin.
- Open MindEntry from a notification banner so the returning thought can start inside the Mental Background OS.
Used when a heavy thought that feels too important to forget repeatedly interrupts focus.
MINDBEBOP Integration
MindShoutOut can send a Shout directly into MindEntry for additional handling options.
A returning thought can also open MindEntry or MindZoneOut when a notification banner is tapped.
This allows a thought to move naturally between scheduling, routing, Recipe workflows, cooling down in Zone, or taking a practical first step.
All integrations are optional. MindShoutOut can still be used as a standalone scheduling tool.
Send to Recipe
Shouts can be sent directly into compatible
MindEntry Recipes.
A thought can move naturally from scheduling and storage into a structured sequence when needed.
Recipes may include Stateful Recipes, CogniHacks, Hallway Mode, or other MindEntry flows.
Send to Recipe is optional. Many thoughts still begin and end inside MindShoutOut.
Manual Flip
Shouts can be sent directly to
MindFlipOut.
Sometimes a thought does not need another reminder.
It needs a different perspective.
Manual Flip allows a stored thought to move directly into a Heavy → Light response.
Manual Flip complements scheduling, Zone integration, Recipe integration, and MindEntry workflows.
